Which one did you choose? I got Blue Rescue Team the first time around because I figured it would sound better, and have more controls using the touch screen. (I was right on both calls) The second time around, I got Explorers of Darkness. I wanted to get Time, but all three of the other people I knew wanted that one, so I decided I would get Darkness for the sake of version-exclusive missions/pokemon that we could trade between eachother.
I liked Blue rescue team, but upon a second playthrough, it sort of seems to have little depth to it, espesially compared to Explorers of Time/Darkness.
What are your thoughts on this great game series? Good? Bad? Somewhere in between!? ^_^

I'd have to say explorers of time/darkness is purely epic. I got the Time version first (although darkness seemed awesome I picked time because it was my favorite color and some of the pokemon in the game although I can't remember most, I liked better) Then I got Darkness. I never got Red/blue rescue team. But I'd still think time/darkness is better.
If I had to rank Time/darkness my thought on the two games would be not good....It would be great!

So you got BOTH!? You really are quite the pokemon fan, aren't you? XD Well the story never get's boring, I'll agree to that!!
Red and Blue's storyline is kind of bland and un-eventful as far as in-depth story-telling, But I think that's just because of the Red version being for GBA; the cartridges having less memory and all that. That's why in all of the older versions that the only real story-line was at the start, the end, and the parts in between where your rival finds you. the rest is just walking around and battling. And of course getting badges and such. Although you'll notice in DP that Cynthia comes up to you in (What was it) Eterna City and you're Mom is in the contest hall AFTER Fantina talks to you...along a bunch of other things, but that's off-topic.
Anyway, There's going to be tough times ahead if the Pokemon Company wants to top Time/Darkness in terms of story and depth.
I give this game a 10/10 as a standalone game, and a 9/10 comparitivly speaking.
